I cant really believe that jake is already 4 years old! he is so big and they both are growing so fast its a little bittersweet, he is all signed up for soccer and he is so excited, i got him a soccer ball today and some shin gards, he is so cute and because he is still a little guy i have to special order his shoes online! i am so proud of him right now it feels like he was born yesterday and i am so happy that he pulled through every scary obstacle that was in his way i have God to thank for that, and as for my baby Jordan he is going to be 2 on aug. 1st and he is such a talker he wants to be on a 'team' to like jake so we got him a few special things to make him feel apart of the team. He is learning to go on the potty and he is really starting to be like a big kid not so much a baby, which makes my heart ache but i know i have to let them grow up and teach them how to be good people and men and grow to make me proud. gosh if its this hard to let go of the 'baby' years i cant even imaging how its going to be to have to let them go to college.I now understand what parents mean when they say 'it goes by so fast' because i cant even believe it has been 4 years already, i love them so much those kids are my whole world, my whole heart, and i'm so proud to be their mom, God has blessed me so much with the amazing family i have!!!! im posting new pics right now of jakes birthday! thanks for reading my 'mom moment' xoxoxo

WOW its been a while!

I know its been 10 years since my last post! I just wanted to say hello and let everyone know all is well my way! I have been so busy the company it taking off at light speed, and I have God to thank for that. I am in the process of buying a house, well looking to buy, I haven't found the perfect one yet, and my babies are having birthdays! Jake will be 4 on the 24th of this month and he is going to be playing soccer this season, I am so excited, and Jordan will be 2 Aug. 1st and is as cute as can be. Paul and I are keeping busy working and trying to spend the little time we have with each other and our family, even if its grocery shopping, we started a pretty fun game....bumper carts the kids love it although I don't think I can say the same for fellow shoppers haha! We are trying to enjoy our summer and soak up the sun because in my opinion winter lasted WAY too long! I'm Back...For Now

Well my life has been extremely busy this last month! I am very thankful for what has been happening but it has caused me to almost abandon my blog. So I will do my best to log on and blog and visit my friends because I miss you all so very much, its just when I get home or when I am done working the last thing I want to do is be on a computer or a phone! Also if you can send prayers our way for my Aunt my family would greatly appreciate it, she had 2 ruptured annurisims and 6 small ones that didn't rupture a week ago Saturday. She has gone through 2 brain surgeries and she's a trooper she is doing well, talking and they are going to have her start walking I think tomorrow because she has been stuck in a bed for 8 days, they think she may have had a stroke after the 2nd surgery because her left side is a little weak, but she's a fighter and I know she will pull through, and God is watching over her. He has to be because she is doing so well after all of that. Thanks for reading! xoxoxo

I have carpet like a creme and tan mix color, (yeah its a bi*ch to keep clean!) and I have ceramic textured tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, its pretty but i have to get down on the floor to scrub cause there is so many grooves. pretty much the main reason I want people to take their shoes off when they come over!

Honestly I have before when we were out I forgot my toothbrush and one time the kids threw his in the toilet so he used mine. It doesn't bother either of us, if we have to share a tooth brush then we do, we kiss each other anyway no big deal...our mom's think we are gross!

Most of the Alicia Keys songs and there is a song i keep hearing on the radio some girl, I cant stand her voice at all but its so weird I have to listen.

10 Superstitions, Traditions, and/or Personality Quirks

1. I have to kiss my hand and hit the roof of my car when driving under yellow lights for good luck.
2. I HATE HATE HATE multiples of 5 so whenever I set an alarm or put anything in the microwave it has to be a weird number like 7:18 or 3:22 I just don't like 5's or 0's.
3. Every morning before my husband leaves I have to tell him to be careful and we always give each other a kiss and a hug and say 'I love you' before either of us leave.
4. When my house starts to get messy I feel like I have really bad anxiety. (dumb I know!)
5. When it snows I have to run outside in a tank top, panties and no socks or shoes just cause I have done it my whole life, I used to make snow angels in bikini, I'm glad I let that one go.
6. My shelves in my closet can't stay organized to save my life, but I always have everyone else's looking great and I'm the one putting everything away!
7. I can't let the kids go to sleep without saying their prayers with them.
8. When I go to the grocery store there is ALWAYS one thing I forget, even if I have a list..UGH!
9. If I see a penny and it's heads up I have to pick it up blow on it and put it in my right pocket and if I have no pockets I put it in my right boob.
10. I have to talk to my mom and my dad at least once a day. If I'm not driving over to see them!

What do you plan on doing with your tax rebate check (economic stimulus package)?
Well right now I know I definately plan on spending it! I think we will use some it to pay rent and then maybe save a little but we are also thinking about planning another cruise soon, so maybe we will do that, or go to Hawaii. I dont really know yet but whatever we do it will be a blast and a half!

I found this on myspace somewhere and I thought I would stick it up here because its everything I have felt...a lot of it today too, my oldest had a fever of 103.3 but I won I got it down quick! I just checked on him and he has been at a steady 98.6 since this morning. THANK YOU GOD!!!

I'm all over the place, on my tummy, back, side and somehow I manage to keep my blankets nice while I sleep so my side is really east to make, but my husband is a blanket hog and he gets all tangled up in them like a burrito and I find myself freezing some nights and wrestling with a sleeping burrito!

So this morning my husband had to go to court for his speeding tickets and when we get to 18 its a sea of clouds below us, and the wind was blowing the clouds against the mountain and it looked just like the ocean but with clouds. Then we got down the hill and it got pretty hot, but I just walked through my door and I am about to start working and it is so beautiful outside. I love this right now! YAY!!!

week of april.13.2006: what if?
what if....
1. ...you were stranded on a deserted island, name one person you would chose to be stranded with. what would you do to survive?
Well of course I would want to be stranded with my husband, and he is a tree climber so it would be really easy for him to climb up and get us coconuts and he knows how to build stuff so we could build shelter and we would play in the water and hope someone finds us, but we would probably want to be stranded for about 3 days it would be a nice little break away from the kids and our busy schedules! haha!

2. ...you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Oh I always think about this! especially when I'm cleaning, I wish I had the power to think of things and they would just get done with me thinking about it, but only when I want it to so weird stuff doesnt happen. But that would be awsome if the dishes are dirty or I wanted a purse full of $100's so I can go on a shopping spree, or a new car in my driveway! Or the kids to be instantly clean and happy! I could go on forever! if only I had this power....

3. ...you could bring one character from your favorite book to life, who would it be?
Well I dont read a lot of big people books but I have always loved the book Fudge! that kid would be my best friend, or I would want Bart from the simpsons or Ariel from The Litttle Mermaid.

4....you could solve one of historys unsolved mysteries, which would it be?
Sad...but I cant even think of one of history's unsolved mysteries.....but I do wish I could explore the bottom of the ocean everywhere that would be something I would love to know more about because a lot of it is still a mystery!

What is your favorite season?

My favorite season would have to be summer! I love the heat and I love love love love to swim, I live in my swimsuit every summer and I carry about 3 things of sunblock in the car/purse/diaperbag. I keep extra swimsuits in the car for those 'just incase' moments because they happen quite often in my family. I just love how its warm and sunny and fun all the time! yay for summer!!!

The 1st time I drove that I can remember I was about 3 years old and my parents would always let us steer up the driveway (we lived on 5.5 acres) and it was always fun, and my first time driving legally on the street was fun I was pretty slow though for about a week.

I just got home about 30 minutes ago! I am done for the day the babies are taking a nap and I am going to relax and take a 20 minute hot shower, then I have to get dinner started and I am walking again today! Its so nice to have nothing to do! I feel a little lost right now haha!

Tuesday Toot

So I am posting my toot on my way out the door....again! but I have lots I am extremely proud of myself this week, I have really been working our company really really hard some days I don't stop working until 11pm and I am juggling this between kids (I work either from home or my parents house) my house work (I am happy to report I am still on top of my laundry and I think I have 2 dirty shirts as of this moment, and my house is sparkling) my realty work, giving massages about 2-3 times a week (that was a shock to me too, I have had a lot of friends tell their friends so I have been busy with that, and I go into an office about once a week and do 15 minute back massages) and having alone time with my husband that to me is sooooo important! Also I went and walked/ran 1.5 miles yesterday I had to leave early because it started to get really cold and windy and Jordan's cheeks were turning red and looking chapped. When we got home I put them to bed at 7:30 and my husband and I watched a movie and a couple of shows then went to bed. I am really proud of myself my husband is too. I am so busy and some days tired but since I have been eating better and just doing pilates I feel like I have more energy! So here I go again today, and the kids are already working my last nerve...its going to be a fun one! It's days like this when God gets me through it all! Thanks for reading!

Is there anything for which you would willingly give your life?
Yes. My family, I would try so hard to not have to just because I want to watch them grow up, but I definately would without hesitation

How would you communicate with someone if you didn't share a common language?
Its really hard I have had to do that before there was a lot of pointing and confusion, I gave in and called my friend who spoke spanish and had her translate, and if I were ever put in that situation again I would just call someone.

Where is your ideal place/location to have a wedding?
That would have to be on a beach! that is where we were supposed to get married, it was fun planning everything and getting the permits lined up, then I found out I was pregnant with Jake and he was due 10 days before our wedding! So there went that idea haha!

I am on my way out the door yet again and I am forcing myslef to get a blog and a meme done! I have been so extremely busy but its all been for the best! I am really happy to report we have gotten even more work and we held our first meeting the other night! It's hard work and I feel like all I do is work clean and sleep with the occasional bite of food every now and then but I know it is going to pay off in the end! So today is a little of a lazy day, i got to sleep in a little even my babies are exhausted I had to wake them up! I will try to check in everynight this week. I am making time for my health and I will be walking/running 2 miles everynight at 6pm with my kids and friends so I am very excited about that as well! take care all I will be back soon! I promise...at least I hope!

I'm know there has been but I cant remember what it was, it was something about the Pomo Indians, I was helping my little sister with a report.
Invent a new word that you feel would improve the language and define it.
This is one of those thinking ones, and my brain has officially checked out for the night, I have a super long and busy week ahead....i make up lots of words throughout my day I say 'poopstain' a lot its what I use instead of 'butthead' or 'Oh S**t' if a bunch of people went around saying 'poopstain' instead of bad words the world might just laugh a little more and its a very versatile word you can use it for just about anything!
What is your favorite texture?
to touch...I love those crunchy baby toys is that a texture? i like touching stuff that is really smooth and soft. especially blankets...happy MM everyone, I will try to be on as much as possible this week but its not looking so great but I have a lot to be thankful for, our company is getting bigger slowly but its getting there so that is where a lot of my time is going. So this week I havr been extremely busy, with being a wife, mom and running a company and I managed to clean the car out and wash it, and scare away the bear before he got in the trash, but that is really all that happened this week...nothing too exciting. I would definitely chose the country! I have lived in the mountains my whole life (except after high school and moved in the CITY for 4 years!...and I moved back!) and its a pretty small town really nice, quiet, hardly any violence, and I absolutely love it here! I hate the city and never in a million years would I want to move back, the only thing I liked about the city is everything is within a 5 mile radius....BUT I would MUCH RATHER drive 30 miles to go to wal-mart or the mall then have to live in the middle of that crap!

Well I am racking my brain here trying to think of what cute things my darling children have said this week and I can't seem to think of anything right now, probably because it is 1:00am...But i can't help but only think of the mess they made this morning on my freshly mopped kitchen floor! My little one Jordan thought he would help me make breakfast this morning, so while I was downstairs getting their clothes picked out he was fast at work cracking eggs on the kitchen floor, 8 of them to be exact. Then when he realized he made more of a mess than breakfast, he thought he would sweep it up, and that didn't work so he used the swiffer! All this mess in a matter of no more than 4 minutes. As I am walking up the stairs Jake yells "Mommy Jordans got the eggs!" Then I saw my lovely egg covered yellow kitchen floor....KIDS MAN!!!! At least he attempted to clean it up!

10 Places I Would Take A Tourist to See in my Hometown...
well I live in a small town but it is also a big tourist attraction...here we call them 'Flatlanders' you can often find them playing on the side of 18 in dirty snow, packing snow on top of their cars to be 'cool' and doing about 25mph on 18 and never using turnouts.... here is my home town, Lake Arrowhead

where 'Flatlanders' often like to go are lame places which aren't so much fun and everything is way overpriced! so I would take a flatlander here:
1. The Flats - we go off roading there often and it is beautiful I like to picnic there
2. Deep Creek - so much fun most who visit the mountain don't got there because they don't know it exists, and you need a 4 wheel drive to get there.
3. Crab Flats - great hiking
4. My house around midnight - we throw awesome parties and they will more than likely see a bear and coyotes about 10 feet away
5. Lake Silverwood - because they don't have as many stupid rules as Lake Arrowhead, and lake patrol down there is way less uptight!
6. The Pinnacles - super fun trails that lead from Dart Canyon to Silevrwood, my husband and I used to take them all the time in high school
7. Papaya Bay or the Chefs Inn - its way fun on Friday and Saturday nights
8. Camp Seeley up to Heart Rock - its a fun hike I used to do it about 3 times a week with my Dad when I was a kid.
9. My old house - we had the best water I have ever had we had a natural well in our backyard, people should be able to know what real water taste like.
10. Panorama Point - the prettiest view ever, especially on a clear day you can see Catalina Island, the tall buildings in L.A. and ships on the ocean, Lake Elsinore, Lake Paris and can get a clear accurate traffic report and know which freeways not to take if you have to go down the hill...I love it!

If I were doing any one of these amazing things right now I would so amazingly happy! But instead I have a million non fun things to do today, including going to the bank with 2 little kids that HATE the bank...and I have to work at my parents house, and I'm already late, I miss my husband, and I have to pay bills today! YUCK! However, I am happy and blessed that God gave me another day in this world and to be with my kids and family and be able to pay my bills, and have the oppertunity to work, so my day isnt that bad I just have to remember all the blessings I have and hey maybe God will even have my Dad bring some sushi back with him tonight....hahaha its a thought, and quite possible!

So this week I have managed to stay up on my housework, while helping run a company and try and sell a house! I am very proud of myself, and yesterday morning we were getting ready to take Paul to work around 5am we were in a rush to get out the house, and we see a MOUSE run across the floor!!! (we live right in the forest so we have seen them around but never in the house) We are in such a hurry we don't have time to deal with it, (and I'm pissed cause my kids play on that floor and I have been trying really hard to keep it clean!) So Paul heads out the door with Jordan, and Jake and I are about to follow, then there goes the mouse again, so I grabbed Jordan's shoe, and the mouse runs into my intake vent for the heater on the floor, I was smacking the vent with the shoe, I was not going to let him get away, and I was hoping he would fall in the hole...but instead he popped his little head through the top and got whacked with the shoe, and it layed there twitching, Jake yelled "Mommy you killed the mouse?" I told him he was sleeping, so I opened the vent and grabbed its little tail run outside to the car, and yelled to Paul "Look what I got" he thought it was his coffee til he got closer then said "how the heck did you do that?" I threw the mouse into the trees across the street, said a prayer for it and we went on our way, after I scrubbed my hands like a mad woman. I feel bad in a way, I wished it would have just ran out the door, but then again this is my home and my kids are safe from that nasty little mouse and whatever disease it could have been carrying! So I did it I got rid of that mouse without using a trap! GO ME!!!

Well this week my kids have said some pretty cute things, I have been called 'Princess Mommy' a whole lot and my little one's favorite is 'hush' he says 'hush mama' and 'hush dada' a lot. But right now I can probably remember the more naughty things they have done this week as opposed to the cute things. Oh another sweet little story is from Jordan, he has been quite the cleaner/helper, the other day he woke up from a nap and saw a scrabble letter on the floor, he picked it up and put it away without being asked, he also spilled a couple drops of milk on the floor so he grabbed the swiffer and wiped it up, then put the swiffer away! How awesome is that? Now if I could just get my oldest to do that, I wouldn't have so much work!

So today has been a weird one, this whole time change thing has got me all mixed up and I feel so rushed, and on top of that I had to take my husband to work this morning and we had assumed he would be coming home this evening, but we found out differently this morning, I guess someone changed their mind about staying sometime after 10:30pm and we never got the phone call. So my honey is down in San Diego for the week with only the clothes on his back, no cell phone charger, toothbrush, etc, so it looks like I will be making a run down there later! As for the kids, they have completely destroyed the living room, it looks like I haven't cleaned it in years, when I just did it last night, hence the reason why I am typing this blog...I am putting it off for as long as I can and I just organized all their toys last night, I should have taken a picture, I knew it wouldn't last! I also made a new rule...when you get a new toy, you need to put the other one back NEATLY, that worked about 5 minutes, however, when it was nap time they did put them away, they threw them in the corner but at least the toys made it to the corner. Now they are awake and its worse than before they went to sleep, then again I have to remember they are kids and their job is to make messes (job security for me...right?) at least one is playing quietly the other is coming over with ever car and truck we own and pretending I am his personal race track. Now I need to go clean get them dressed cute, run some errands, go sing happy birthday to my little sister she's 10 today, do some paperwork at my parents, then possibly drive to San Diego, drop off his stuff and turn around to come right back home...but its no big deal its only about 150 miles each way! At least I will get to see him and give him a big kiss! I miss him so much already!

I did it, I signed up for payperpost, I am extremely excited because I can get paid to blog, since I am on here all the time I might as well get pay a few bills! I learned about payperpost through my friends Kristin and Amanda I am pretty new to everything but there are a lot of opportunities to make money, which is so cool to me, because it gives me a chance to help my husband out and have a little extra to buy something nice for my family or myself. It also makes me feel better about my time spent on the computer, I know I probably should have been doing the dishes, folding laundry or cleaning the bathroom but hey instead I made some money, now let me hear a husband complain about that! Although I am pretty new to payperpost I am starting to learn a whole lot, I still get confused about my little blog world at times, but payperpost has videos that can walk you through certain things if you don't understand them, they also word their site very clearly so it is easy to understand. I love payperpost and I am learning new things everyday!

Nope, my kids have never had the flu, I have never had the flu and I dont think my husband has either, and they funny thing is we have never gotten a flu shot! I may get a cold 1 or 2 times a year, and so far Jake has had 4 colds in his almost 4 years and Jordan has had 2 and hes 19 months, we are a pretty healthy family, thank God! when my boys get sick, and I mean all 3 its like a little slice of hell in my house, such babies they turn into!

I was just looking at some baby pictures of Jake and I know he and Jordan look a lot alike but I didn't realize they looked this much alike, it's really weird!

I have some more pictures of them here at home (I don't have a scanner so I can post them, sorry) I showed them to Paul and asked "which one?" he had no idea then he figured it was Jake because the stroller looked new and his adidas were in the picture. They look so much alike its really hard to tell their pictures apart. People always ask me if they are twins, and they are 2 years and 8 days apart!

So this week I have gotten sooooo much done, I have stayed up on my laundry and I am happy to report right now the only dirty clothes in my house are the ones on our backs! FINALLY!!! It was hard but I finally did it, and my whole house is really clean and my closets are organized, and my husband scrubbed the rug last night and then vaccuumed to help me out. I am very proud of myself for keeping up with everything and to top it off I have more free time, when the kids take a nap I'm not frantically cleaning, I can sit and have a cup of tea and watch TV or take a shower, heck I can even take a nap (note to self) and I taught Jordan his ABC's this week with the help of Jake. He gets things mixed up but he can sing them pretty good...not bad for a 19 month old! Oh and Jake is OFFICALLY POTTY TRAINED we even went to LA and not 1 diaper for him! This has been such a good week...seriously WONDERFUL! THANK YOU JESUS!

So today the kids and I were rushing out of the house to pick up Paul, as we are walking down our stairs Jake asks me "Hey Shonnte, can you make all this snow go away now?" I turned around so fast I thought my hair was going to fly off my head and I responded "What is my name?" Jake says "Mommy" I asked "and what do you call me?" he replies "not Shonnte!" it was so funny I had to turn away to giggle and as I'm walking with Jordan in my arms Jordan says "hi mama Shonnte" and he said it so well! This week my little Jordan has also been saying "no mama" like its going out of style, I guess we are now entering that phase, he says it so cute, but I know it won't be cute for long! Ha! My babies!

You find that your best friend has stolen money to pay for medical treatment for a seriously ill relative. What would you do? I would be annoyed and hurt that they stole from me for sure, I would understand why but I would definately have a serious talk with them and let them know to just ask me. After all we are best friends and I would definately give them as much as I could to help, stealing is wrong. But I would try not to let it get in the way of our friendship, because it was for a good cause.

What three things you regret not learning to do? um I dont really have any regrets about anything, and I am really trying to think here...maybe not learning how to cook like my dad he was a gourmet chef before I was born and man he can cook like no other! But if I really wanted to learn my parents are only 5 mins away, and my husband is a pretty good cook. OH I regret not learning how to wakeboard in high school, i tried it twice then gave up, it really hurt when I fell, and I TOTALLY regret not learning that eating the way I did when I was pregnant with my 1st one would make me THAT FAT! yeah I definately regret this one I ate so much and the whole time I just looked like a had a belly, I was wondering where all that weight went until he was out, then I found it...all in my belly, so pretty! ha!

My husband has been working out of town the last couple of weeks and our kids miss him dearly, the other day our youngest Jordan would not walk away from the front door, he grabbed his blanket and sat there waiting for his daddy to come home. I kept telling him that daddy was working and he wouldnt be home tonight but he just sat there and if I tried to move him he would cry and go back to the door (he's 18 months old) So while I was making dinner I looked over to see him sleeping against the door with the blanket across his lap, this made my heart melt, it's so hard with him gone, its hard on all of us.

I almost forgot about this one...so last week or so ago, I was driving with the kids and I hear Jake yell "Mommy, I got bloody nose!" this happens quite often, so I pull over and as I'm cleaning him up I ask "honey why do you keep picking your nose? that's gross, and you get bloody" he replies "because my boogers taste yummy" he's so gross! What is it with boys? LOL!!

Ok so this week I have accoplished all my laundry! I was so happy that celebrated the last load washed! haha, I'm really happy to have it all done, and when I went away for the weekend with my husband it gave me peace of mind knowing that I am coming back home to a spotless house, which waws really nice when we walked through the door Sunday night. Then he went to work Monday morning and my boys did what they do best...make messes, but I have stayed on my laundry like white on rice and its still all done! YAY FOR ME!!!!

Oh my gosh! We had a blast and a half! I picked Paul up from the airport around 9pm friday then weo drove straight to San Diego and stayed in this really nice hotel right down the street from where me and my friend John and our 2 other friends stayed when we were 18 and down there looking for apartments. So we got there and decided to go out with my sister and John and meet up with our friend Desiraye at one of the bars, where she was we couldnt get in because the bouncer was a BIG FAT JERK, so we walked down the street and went into another one and had a few drinks, then we decided to go back to the hotel and go to sleep. The next day we sat in the amazingly small jucuzzi and then went down to PB right down the street from where we used to live. We had lunch at Joes crab shack (it was everyones first time) it sucked so gross, then we went into the most random store I have ever been in in my entire life, they had EVERYTHING...all of it completly pointless decorative stuff but super cute, we spent about an hour in there just walking around, they had so much stuff I was a little overwhelmed, and my eyes hurt from being busy. We left there and went over to the store and bought lots of drinks it was John's birthday and we wanted it to be so fun that we couldnt remember!!! We went back to get ready for the night and completely forgot about all the fun drinks we had bought. So we manged to get half of one down within the 5 minutes before our taxi got there. Our friend got us on the VIP list for a bar/club called the Wiskey Girl which was awesome because we didnt have to wait in line, we just walked right in, we danced and I did a birthday shot with John, then we went over to another place called the Tavern had some more drinks, then our birthday boy got sick :( so we got a taxi went back to our room, and John wanted us to wake him up in an hour, but we all fell asleep...so in the morning Paul and I woke up around 8:30 and we took a shower he ran out to del taco to get some of those big fat breakfast tacos (they are amazing) We got ready then woke up John and Myleacka, packed up to leave and went out for breakfast at El Torrito, then we went over to Sunset Cliffs which is where I used to go all the time when I lived there and walked on the cliffs and played with the crabs, Paul and I were trying to find the spot where we carved our names over 5 years ago but we couldnt find it, then we left for home to see out babies because we missed them sooooo much, especially Paul cause he had been gone since Monday. On our way out we stopped by our old apartment, It was so weird seeing everything but it was nice, I still like the mountains way better for raising my family, I think I would have been miserable trying to start a family down there. I was raised up here too and I really liked it, I feel safer, also there is parking here, When I lived in San Diego there was never parking!!! A few times I parked as far as 3/4 of a mile away from my apartment because that was the closest spot, I couldn't imagine doing that with kids! This was my fun weekend! I'm sad it went by so fast! Manic Monday

How did you celebrate your last birthday?
Oh it was soooo fun, we woke up and my husband made a HUGE breakfast, with big fluffly french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, and fresh fruit. Then it started snowing so I was just thinking we could sit home and have a relaxing day, but he got on the phone and invited a bunch of my friends over for a party, my sister came over with a cake amd decorated my car and Paul bar-b-qued and my friends and family came over, we just partied all night. Then later we went out to a little bar down the street that and danced until 2am It was a blast!

What's the last thing you bought yourself, just for fun?
well this weekend I bought some super cool hot pink knee high socks, and some black and pink ones with sparklies, that I wore with my jean skirts over the weekend in the rain...I didnt even care I was just happy it wasnt snowing! haha!

What would the child you once were think of the adult you have become?
depending on the age of the child I were to think of, my answers would be completely different, if I think back to 7 years old I think I would be really sad that I wasnt a mariene biologist and I didnt live at the beach, and I would be shocked that I have 2 boys and not 2 girls. But if I think back between 12 and 13, I would be estatic that Paul is my husband and I would be a little surprised that I have kids this young, and I would think I was a weirdo for moving back to the mountains and not staying at the beach, and probably disappointed that I didn't stay in college in San Diego. But for the most part my child me would smile, cause i'm not your 'avarage adult' I'm still a big kid, I like to have fun and when I go places I tend to dance in the street and sing "party in my tummy" with my sister, I just have fun and I really dont care what people think about me, which I think I tend to have more fun than some cause I'm not wondering what the person next to me is going to think, and that is exactly how I was when I was a kid!

Have you ever played a practical joke on anyone? If so, what did you do and who was your victim?
I have played lots of jokes but one that was really fun was when I was 14 and I was with Paul who is now my husband and we were camping and while everyone was sleeping we put shaving cream all over all of them, it was everywhere!! Oh and a couple of weeks ago, my sister and I snuck into my friend John's house while he was at work and I taped up everything, with the invisible clear tape, like I tapes the top to his belnder, I taped the oatmeal box together, all the tops to the body wash in the shower, light switches, cd's, whatever I could think of, then when i ran out of stuff to tape, I hung the remaining tape at the doorways so when he would walk through it would stick to him! It was sooooo funny I did all this while my sister cleaned...hahaha!

What I am thankful for today is my oldest son Jake finally learning how to go to the potty all the time, he has been doing so well, and I think now its officially safe to say that he is POTTY TRAINED!!!! I am so happy I have been trying for almost 2 years and now he's got it! Also my little one Jordan, who is 18 months is getting really close, he recognizes when he has to go pee but he always goes in the shower sor some reason, at least hes trying, he sits on his little elmo potty he's gone on that once, but his favorite place is the shower, he will just take his diaper off and run in there, maybe i will start getting him to use his potty more often if I put that in the shower...so anyway that is what I am thankful for today!

My Weekend

So my hubby got to come home late Valentine's day night, it was so exciting! The best Valentine's Day gift...him calling me to say he was just calling me to wish me a Happy Valentine's Day and he was sorry he couldn't be home and to pick him up around 9:30pm from the airport! I screamed, I was sooooo happy! So he came home and we just lounged around the house and went to the park, just spent time together, talked watched movies, all that fun stuff. Then came Monday...it was bittersweet because it was his last day home until he had to leave again, it was so nice though, we played with the kids all day and then we got to take them to my mom's to spend the night (we had to wake up at 3:30am to get him to the airport ontime) but we had a nice night together, we did his laundry and talked/laughed. He is amazing, and already our kids know he is away at work for the next few days, and boy are they taking advantage of it, already driving me crazy...they are such little angels when he is home, but the minute Paul leaves they turn into 3 foot monsters! So its finally 7:00 my favorite time I am putting them to bed! YAY!!! So that was my relaxing weekend that made me feel refreshed for a moment, and the kids draind all that out of me by noon today! haha!!

What do you order when you eat Chinese food?
Ever since my 1st pregnancy, I have HATED chinese food! I used to really like it but then babies happened, so YUCK! Oh but i do like pick up stix and I love their house chicken...in moderation.

How much have you controlled the course your life has taken? Pretty much every step of the way since I have been on my own well wait...God has guided me and because of him I am where I am today. I believe that people have the power to make their lives be what they want it to be and if they have faith and the love of the lord in their hearts they can accomplish so much. You are where you are today because of the choices you make.

Whose opinion do you value when deciding how to vote?
In all honesty I am confused as all heck about who stands where and for what, and sometimes it seems like they really try and confuse you! Seriously I am confused I just wish they would all be straight forward and tell the truth, but i guess that is all a dream... since this will be my 1st time voting I really do value my own opinion the most, but I like to hear what my parents have to say and my husband, that reminds me, I need to go register in my county.

Thursday Thirteen - cool things I've done

Last week i was tagged by my friend Shari so here are my 13 awesome things.

1. Met my husband when I was 12
2. Fell in love somewhere around 16 got married 4 days after my 20th birthday
3. Had to boys one weighing 9 lbs. and did it all natural
4. Learned how to drive in the snow this winter
5. Made it down the hill in 7 minutes (back when I was a teenager and thought I was invincible)
6. Had almost every color possible in my hair, and have never once dyed it!
7. Learned how to ride a quad by the age of 4.
8. Owned 3 pittbulls, 4 squirrls, 3 rabbits, 2 fish, a horse and a donkey all at one time (I dont know what my parents were thinking)
9. Ran through 2 feet of snow in nothing but a bekini (now that I remember, that was pretty dumb)
10. Moved out of my parents all the way to San Diego a week after high school graduation
11. In college showing up for my spanish class soaking wet almost every time in the middle of winter (I had a 2 hour break between classes, and was about 5 mins from the beach...I love the water)
12. Swam with sea turtles
13. Started reading when i was 2 years old, and was at a 2nd grade level by the time I was 4...GO MOM!!

So this week, I got through my mother in laws wedding, she was getting a little stressed but i managed to get through everything with a smile, we pulled off the wedding and it was beautiful. Other than that I cant really think of anything else I have done this week, its been a busy one mainly dealing with the wedding. Its nice its all over.

So tonight I was putting my oldest son Jake to bed at my parents house, (my momma is giving me a break) all day since my little sister had been home from school we had been telling her to do her homework. So when I laid them down we said our prayers and I was talking to Jake and he and I were asking each other what sounds which animals make. Then to mix things up I asked him what sound his little brother Jordan makes and Jake made a crying noise, then I asked him what sound his Aunty Ahalani makes and he said "I won't do my homework" It was so funny, I laughed so hard! He is such a funny kid!

That would have to be The Notebook, I have seen that movie well over 100 times and it never gets old. It reminds me a lot of us and our magical summer when I was 16.

Oh that would have to be Vin Diseal...causeee i love his muscles and he is just so cute to me! and his voice there is just something about it! Or Sean William Scott he is really hott too!

Smart Habbit Saturday

What I would like to accomplish this week, is making a routine for myself everyday, like eating breakfast, when I feed the kids and being more strict with myself with my pilates. Also I would like to hate chocolate chip cookies! Oh and get in the habbit of washing clothes everyday and putting them away after I fold them...I always just put them back in the basket, I need to stop this bad habbit.

My Crazy Night!

So tonight we had a girls night out, totally unexpected but my mom wanted to take the kids, my friend was coming up to visit me and my husband is in san francisco. So...we went out my sister, desi, rosanna and me, 1st we started at a local bar called papaya bay, it was lame nobody was there so we left and headed off to the chefs inn, again lame practically empty. So we decided to go down the hill (i was the designated driver) we get to the brandin iron (a country bar and out of the whole group im the only one who knows how to line dance) we go to the window to pay and a fight breaks out security is screaming "call 911" as they shove us in a corner to keep us safe. We look over and see out friend Summer from elementry school that was neat, we stayed for about 45 minutes then we were over it, so off to riverside to go to sevilla's. There was a $15 cover charge, but we begged and pleaded cause they were closing in an hour so they let us in for $10 each. Everyone but me got drinks then we go to step out on the dance flooe and the music COMPLETELY changes, they started playing spanish techno music, had a good beat but we didnt understand a thing, so we danced then we were approached by creepy guys, and im sorry but im not one of those girls that is going to be ok with a random strange guy coming up and putting his hand on my hips, so the 1st time i was polite and just moved away and shot him the look of "dont ever touch me again" then about 30 mins later he tries it again...yeah i wasnt so nice! i yelled and so did my sister and ran 5 feet, all his friends were laughing at him! We leave and head home, got gas at the bottom of the mountain, i dropped off my friend, then my sister, and my car breaks down!!! it seems like the gas just stopped getting to the engine, so my sister gave me her keys and i took her car home. We get back to my house and we needed to move my friends car to my side of the road and out of the neighbors paarking area, her truck was stuck in the snow (2 wheel drive) so i rocked it out, took us about 15 minutes but i did it we parked it and came home. WHAT A NIGHT!!! it could have been worse, my car could have broke down while we were down the hill! it was a very eventful night, crazy and fun a night i will never forget. but I think the next girls night out is going to be a girls night in, its just safer that way! haha! or and sorry for all the typo's im really tired! i just got home! i just hope tomorrow (technically today) is better i just hope my car will work i have to get my husband from the airport and go to a dinner for his moms wedding i forgot what it is called, then we are in the wedding on sunday! at least i won a contest! that was good news! haha!

My friend Kristin is absolutely AMAZING! I am really new to this whole blog thing, I just started last week and she has been so incredibly helpful. I have known her since we were kids and I am truely blessed to have her in my life, as well as in my little blog world! She is one of those friends who are 'TRUE FRIENDS' and even though she is hundreds of miles away I still feel just as close to her if not more, than back I did back in the day! Today my husband has to head off for work in San Francisco, he will be up there working for about 1-2 months he gets to fly home on weekends, but I miss him so much! He is my best friend and when he leaves I feel like my world gets turned upside down, if I didn't have the kids I seriously don't know what I would do with myself! All I know right now is that I am SOOOOO excited for saturday cause I get to get him from the airport. He is my whole world and when he's gone I miss his hugs and kisses, and just talking to him and being able to hear about his day! So now I have to find something to keep me and the kids busy while he is gone, somtimes I think Jake and Jordan miss him more than I do last time they sat by the door for over an hour and fell asleep waiting for him to come home...and when he is gone I get really bad at doing the dishes! haha so I need to keep up on that! I must say I am very proud of myself, for the last couple of weeks I have really been putting myself out there and sending out blind e-mails to other realtors letting them know about the properties i have listed, and I have actually gotten a few calls about them this week, nothing serious yet but I am getting calls. It makes me smile knowing that my hard work is going somewhere. Oh and I learned how to drive in the snow and I'm pretty good at it! YAY!!

Yesterday when i went to pick my kids up from my mom's (she gave us a break!) we were leaving and my oldest Jake said to her "Bye princess, see you later" i thought it was adorable and you could see my mom's heart melt right there, and while we were in the car he said to me "mommy you are beautiful, you are my beautiful flower." He is such a charmer, girls watch out!

snow snow GO AWAY!!!!!

Today we got more snow, yesterday more snow, we now have about 4 feet of snow in the last 5 days! I am so tired of snow I just wish it would all melt and go away. Today i was reminded of why I moved away from my hometown (which i love and where i live now) I lived here since i was 1 and moved away a week after high school graduation then moved back 4 years later because i hate the city more than I hate the snow. So today I relived the whole 'get me off this mountain' emotion, as I was shoveling snow, about 3 feet of snow off the 25 stairs to my house, my hands were frozen, my ears were numb and there was about 4 inches of solid ice under all the snow, I bent the shovel and fell down 3 times, then started crying because i was so frustrated and my husband was at work and I just needed a hug! But I finished and now i can walk from my house to my car and not almost break my neck every time it was hard but I got out a lot of anger and I havent done pilates in about 3 days so i think that made up for it, my arms feel like rubber and my tummy is really sore but its a good sore! And the funny thing is about 5 minutes after i finished shoveling it started snowing again. I'm saving the rest for my husband when he gets home! LOL!

Is there anything to serious to joke about? If so, what falls into that category for you? I really hate it when people make fun or laugh about other peoples death, like those websites that have pictures or videos of car accidents, and people doing dangerous stuff and it cost them their life. I think it is not only disrespectful to the deceased but also to their families. I hate hearing people talk about how funny it is how some one was cut in two, that person had a life with people in it that cared about them, it was someones mom, dad, brother, sister, son, daughter, friend, husband, wife etc. I'm sure if any of those people had the chance to do it all over again knowing it would cost them the ultimate price I am sure they would not make the same mistake also I sont think they would want pictures of their dead bodies all over the internet. That to me is so sad and disrespectful to all of them regardless of what life they lead.
Would you rather be a tortured genius or a happy simple-minded person? Why? I would much rather be the happy simple-minded person, because if you are not happy how can you truely enjoy life?
A dear friend or family member has a terminal illness and is in agony. He/she wants you to help him/her die. What would you do? Well i definately wouldn't help them kill themselves, I would sit with them, be with them, talk to them and try to keep their mind off the pain, I would help them pray for health or just peace of mind.

So today has been a rough day and its not even close to being over. My kids have gotten into everything this morning and show no signs of giving up their mission of driving mommy crazy! 1st Jake took a stick of butter and put it on our surround sound base, then it got all smashed up smeard all over the place, Jordan made this even better by rubbing it all in his hair right after they had a bath, so while i was cleaning this up Jake opened the fridge, Jordan took out the eggs and was banging them together. Then Jake got the dish soap and poured it on top of the eggs and called himself cleaning it up. So here was my other mess of the day, another bath, lunch and a nap which they really never took. Now i have to go and get my sister at school cause my parents are down the hill, but at least my mom is bringing me a white chocolate mocha later! something too look forward to! And i really cant wait til my husband gets home, i just really need a hug, his hugs make everything better and i can breathe again. So I'm hoping my day gets better, my sister is good with them and they just want to play with her, she makes things a whole lot easier when she comes over and that will give me time to clean the house!
